THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

A very poor man lived with his wife whose hair was very long. One day the wife asked her husband to buy her a comb for her long hair so that it can continue to grow well and to be well groomed.
The man felt sorry and said he didn't have money even to fix the strap of his watch which had just broken. The wife did not insist.
On his way to work that day the man passed by a watch shop, sold his damaged watch at a low price and went to buy a comb for his wife. He came back home in the evening with a comb in his hand ready to give to his wife. He was surprised to see his wife with very short hair. She had cut and sold her hair and bought a brand new watch for her husband.

WhatsApp Upcoming Update Will Bring AboutEdit and Revoke Message Features

A lot of improvement hav been brought to the messagingapp. The most recent would be the ability to screen received videos while downloading. Of course, not forgetting that WhatsApp now has video calls on board.Another update seem to be in the pipeline. And according toWaBetaInfo, WhatsApp will soon be introducing edit and unsend features. The video below was shared on twitter
by WaBeta Info.
WhatsApp beta for iOS 2.17.1.869: how revoking messages work. #hidden #whatsappbeta pic.twitter.com/pEfGfZO1gN— WABetaInfo (@WABetaInfo)
December 14, 2016
This should essentially come inhandy if you make a mistake by sending the wrong message to the wrong recipient. This shouldn’t be new though. BBM stillhas the featureon board. However, BBM terms it asretract. Gmail also hasthe unsend featureon board and that’s been in existence for over a year now.How WhatsApp Unsend Feature Works?I am guessing WhatsApp’s Unsend feature will work in same format as BBM retract. The image shared by WaBetaInfo sorta proves that. However, WhatsApp terms the unsend feature asRevoke.Simply tapping and holding a message displays options including the revoke option. When a message is revoked, the message is not only removed from the sender’s screen, but from also that of the recipient.
It’s not yet clear as to when this feature will be officially made available. However, it’d be available on iOS first and I can’t wait to give it a shot.
