While the age 30 is not a mid-life age , general observations shows that, at 30 the rate at which maturity and responsibility sets in, seems to be mostly on the fast lane. It hardly gives you time to think.
You should probably:
1) Get an Understanding of Divinity :
You should get to know God and have a relationship with him. We know there has to be a God, Its one of the only times you have to sit, study and hear about God. This would help you know the truth and give you a direction for life. Its important you get to know divinity because this would shape the kind of relationships you build and your perspective towards life.
2) Make relationships and don't burn bridges: Most of us are quick to select people to be with , while we make lots of friends when we are young, we make them for the wrong reasons. Building relationships at this time of your life would be helpful because its one of the times where you get to meet and have time to stay in the company of others, after college , you would be left all alone. and everybody needs a favor once in a while.
3) Be out There: Be out there, go out to gatherings, expose yourself don't put yourself in a cage, now you are free of family responsibilities, learn cultures, way of life, other peoples habits, this helps you define yourself more.
4) Try something new/ don't be afraid to fail: We don't mean playing with a gun* Rather you might want to venture into an art or business or travel to a place , you have never been before.
5) Learn:it is a time of learning ,open your mind to learn, after this time , people above 30 tend to live with formed ideas that might not be the best for them because they didn't learn enough.
6)know yourself: You can lie to everybody but to a reasonable extent , not yourself. Know your innate tendencies and don't try to run away from them. Rather we must embrace them and fix any if need be.Not everybody can handle the game of being a rap star, you know yourself ,so don't try to blend.
7) Define Yourself: To define yourself is to understand and state your guiding philosophies to yourself, establish who you are to yourself , if not the world would show you who you can be. If you are firm, focused and driven person. you have to make those things revolve around you.
8) Be Foolish: Ha ,surprise right. Well, You are still keeping an open mind with people and learning to observe. let people take you for a ride sometimes, just watch them and stay cool. when its time you eventually walk away. this helps you build humility. because you never know where you might be in the next 50 years of your life.
9) Build an independent Life: This is one of the most difficult steps to take as you step into the second stage of your adult life. An independent life starts with an independent mind; you don't run to people for every little thing, you take responsibility for yourself. Don't go putting the blame on people at every opportunity you get.
10) Have a stash of Savings: In what ever way you might be receiving income in your twenties , the earlier you start a financial plan, the better for you. By the time you get out of college , it becomes less of a fresh start and you have less tendencies to build debt, because you are already prudent with money.
