I just finished confirming a news in the 'Daily Post' I heard from from a friend that; The APC Deputy gubernatorial Candidate has just Defected to PDP.
It exuded no surprise from me and instead, I made a comment thus" What do you expect from people with no Ideology or Vision of their own" but yet, I had to ask myself why?
Where we becoming so used to the trends of bad News we hear? Where the youths now non-chalant about the trends and lack of visions our father depict for us?. The Bible say "Where there is no vision the people will perish."
He didn't notice before now that he supported PDP and not the party that had nominated him for a serious task. He is telling the world that it just dawned on him now,
that PDP is the right way to go.
Supporters of the GEJ campaign might not get my point(of which I am, too) But when We see White, lets call it WHITE.
Moving from one party to another (at this crucial time, more especially) shows that you dont know what you stand for and have lost your dignity as a human.
Even if you had a realization or turn around, then give us a better reason for defecting.
Our Political parties are loosing its essence and Ideology quickly. We need to go back to the dictionary and know the meaning of the words we speak and act, before we speak.
There where those times when incorruptible people where everywhere. Your team does not have to be the seemingly winning team. What matters is what we stand for, If you stand for the right thing;winning is inevitable with time.
Man must be wise, for the sake of humanity itself. Lets not throw away value: It is sacred, it is important, It is what I can stand for.. Nothing less.
