Microsoft, to buy Beam live streaming service

Microsoft Announces its acquisition of the life streaming service Beam,

A platform that allows viewers to interact with streamers during broadcast, beam allows for communication rather than just passive viewing, for instance viewers can choose the next weapon you use to dispatch enemies, select a game mode or even fly a drone around your room.
This goes beyond simple chatting, while you can get involved within-game you can earn x-points, boosters and emoticons based on how much you want and how often you tune in. beam and Microsoft are looking at a more interactive gaming where you can actually be really in the fight.
