Semi-automated Buses, out for Testing.



Helsinki, the capital City of Finland has taken a step forward to let some Semi- automated Buses out in Traffic. EZ10 easy mile buses made in France still have human drivers on board to make sure nothing goes wrong;
buses had already been tested in the pedestrian streets nearby.
YLE local media says that the current trail is conducted in the pedestrian streets nearby, Hennesari neighborhood. The idea is to use the small buses as back up to other means of Public transport. Harri santamala of Metropolia University says; it could be a feeder, for high volume buses or subway traffic. 
EasyMile is a joint venture between French automaker Ligier and Robotic Robosoft Indian team. The both companies are new comers to autonomous vehicles that provide shuttle services to European parks that claim 1.5 million passengers so far.


Electric Buses used in Helsinki, where carrying nine passengers. The company said the test where stopped in winter, it resumes in the spring of 2017.
