Molly Surprisingly comes back, Bassam is a little taken aback. She packs to a different room ,saying that she wasn't in love with him anymore.
She also suspected that he has been sleeping with Daliyah and she was right. They are now just Partners committed to revenging her daughter's death.
Bassam postpones the elections of Albuddin. This changes everything, turns all his friends against him.
Daliyah calls him to reason, but he remains adamant. Albudin is set to go to War with the Caliphate territory.
We are used to Bassam being straight but,he seems even more boring even now. As much as I love this series but spreading rigidity all around it to create a kind of tension doesn't work completely.
Bassam's relationship with Daliyah was supposed to bring a charismatic kind of Bassam.
That should not be taken away it should remain, We need to see and feel, his human tendencies again.
Episodes 8 certifies the hero of Albudin, now a Tyrant of their time. This particular twist is intresting.
This gives us the Morals again:He knew how to preach forgiveness when he has never lost something in the Albudin madness, Now that he has. Forgiveness ain't such an easy word now, is it?
