I woke up this morning finally having a resolve, since my mixed feelings about the outcome of our Presidential Elections. And before you quote, let me point out that its not just about the feeling of you being on the side that did not 'win'. It was rather an insecurity for the country.
I began wondering, if really the saying that goes "The people get the leader they deserve" is true.We had weighed a lot of things but if the majority vote is what it is,then did we vote for Whom we know and are certain of or what it has always being in Nigeria ;Just a change of power, ethnicity, politics or party affiliations. We have looked less at what a candidate stands for and what he can effect, If its just every other thing except these things, that the votes where made. Then the majority of Nigerians are illiterates. While the educated laid down to wish and bask in their complacency.
Nigeria is country in need of so much education and boldness.Well, don't point out to me all he can do and has done, times has changed and People want to feel like they know their President. He seems to assume he can change so much but very little on how it can be changed.
In Conclusion,We should not deny we dont feel uneasy and are content,He should bear in mind that the whole world are voraciously looking up to him.He would need to do a lot of convincing and quick actions to assure us of his change programmes.
